Govu is an independent studio building tools for creators on iPhone. We believe AI apps should feel like first-party iOS apps: SF Symbols, San Francisco type, system materials, native haptics, Live Activities, and Dynamic Island progress.
Our principles
- Native first. SwiftUI all the way. No web wrappers, no cross-platform shortcuts.
- Privacy by default. Anonymous Auth, server-side credit ledger, zero secrets on device.
- Apple-like restraint. One accent color, one type ladder. The work is the focus.
- Speed. Sub 8 second renders on average. We obsess over wait times.
Built on a clean stack
The app is SwiftUI on iOS 17+. The backend is TypeScript on managed cloud functions, with a transactional database for state and APNs HTTP/2 to push Live Activity progress in real time. AI generation runs on Govu’s own secure server-side API backend, brokered so no API keys ever touch your device.
