Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the Govu mobile application and any related services (collectively, the Service). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Govu. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use Govu only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Your account
Govu signs you in anonymously and stores a credit balance against your account. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping access to your device secure.
Credits and purchases
- Credits are required to generate content. Purchases are processed through Apple and granted by our server upon receipt validation.
- Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.
- Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple. If a generation fails through no fault of yours, we automatically refund the credit used.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to generate or distribute content that:
- Depicts a real, identifiable person without their consent in a manner that is sexual, defamatory, threatening, or otherwise harmful.
- Sexualizes a minor or any character that appears to be a minor.
- Promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm, or illegal activity.
- Infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of any person.
- Attempts to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Your content
You retain ownership of the inputs you provide and the outputs you generate, subject to applicable laws and the rights of third parties. You grant us a limited license to process and store your inputs and outputs for the sole purpose of providing the Service.
Service availability
We work hard to keep the Service running but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will give reasonable notice where practical.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an as is basis without warranties of any kind. AI generated content may be inaccurate, surprising, or unsuitable for your purpose. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or safety critical decisions.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Govu will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
